In October 2018, we contracted East Coast Construction to demolish an adjoining wall and construct a new dining room area in our home. Chris Kavanagh and his crew were very professional and did a fantastic job! They were very thorough and worked with us on every detail of the project. The quality of work was outstanding! We were so happy with their work that we added onto the project – additionally, they installed new flooring in the bedrooms, living room & foyer, added cabinetry to the dining room, painted the walls & ceilings in the living room, foyer & kitchen, constructed a TV component shelf and installed a TV above the fireplace, etc. The crew was very friendly & trust worthy. We left for work every day knowing we did not have to worry about anything and they were doing a fantastic job. They were very responsive to our needs and kept us informed with their progress. We hired East Coast Construction to rehab our 2 properties in Ocean City. The first is a townhouse in which they gutted 2 bathrooms and created a brand new full bath, as well as installing windows, doors, flooring amongst other things. For the condo, which we bought in foreclosure, the work was even more substantial. We have been extremely pleased, not only with their professionalism and attention to detail, but also with their consideration for our budget. An example is when installing the new bathroom in the basement level of our townhouse, they discovered that most of the floor was rotted and needed to be replaced. Rather than using this as a “change order and gauge the customer” opportunity, they simply charged us for the cost of materials and a very modest labor charge. This is what will keep us coming back the them.
